andrewz Posted January 16, 2009 Posted January 16, 2009 I've got some serious GAS for a Fender Jazzmaster.. Anybody wanting to trade/sell one? With the economy as it is, I'd rather do some trading plus cash rather than straight buy one, but anything is possible.. I've got a few guitars to offer up as trade bait, depending on the jazzmaster.. First, a 3-hole Duotone, 1995 I believe (i'd have to check to make sure), and a 1972 Gibson Les Paul Deluxe, all original except upgraded Grover tuners and a pro refret.. I've had the LP for about 12 years (bought it when I was 18), it's been played a lot, but still in great shape considering (i finally had to refret it, otherwise it's never been tampered with except the original owner changed tuners; I'm sure I'll regret getting rid of it, but I'm really wanting a Jazzmaster.. I just rebuilt a '65 Fender Mustang, and it's blowing me away, so i think a Jazzmaster would do so even more... Here's a link to some more pics... It is a beautiful guitar...looks like a 3 piece, wide middle with some blister grain to it (hard ass maple).You can see the joints between the controls and top where the cherry blends to yellow, almost makes the cherry blend kinda straight shot at the one angle pic. Neck should be typical 60's style norlin era semi slim carve. Nice guitar.Sell outright Andrew?
andrewz Posted January 17, 2009 Author Posted January 17, 2009 I'm not really looking to sell it outright at this time, maybe if and when I find a nice jazzmaster (otherwise I'm keeping it). It is a 3 piece top like murkat said, however it's got a fairly thick neck.
