kingsxman Posted May 30, 2009 Posted May 30, 2009 I've decided that I'm going to have to part with my 1980 Hamer special. SN dates it do a 1980. Original Dimarzio pickups in it. Pots are original Dimarzio as far as I can tell. The switch is not original (at least I dont think it is..), nor are the straplocks. Tuners have been replaced with Sperzel locking tuners. Condition is good to very good. It has its dings which I think can be expected for a 29 year old guitar. Most dings are small (you can see a couple of small ones in the back of the neck in one pic) Otherwise there is one good sized ding on the side of the guitar (about even with the top volume knob). You can see pic of that in my pics. The area around the input jack is a bit worn also. See pic. Non original hardshell case.
