chewie37 Posted July 21, 2005 Posted July 21, 2005 Here's mine - 88 Chaparral SN 820824. If I remember my serial numbers correctly it's an '88. I bought it used so can only assume it's all original, but no major dings, has both cover plates and no cracks in the neck around the locking nut. The only problem I've ever had is signal dropout. It's either the jack (or cables) I'm using, or maybe the 5 way switch. I found a couple of suspect solder leads and that helped, but didn't cure the problem. Then again, maybe my skills with a soldering iron just suck.
