Hamer Scepter B&W for sale and Scarab with a twist

Hello All: 1985 Hamer Scepter in Black/white. There is considerable fading/smoke tinting of the finish, it is more of a cream color now. ( if you want a good bicep workout, you might be able to polish it back to a brighter white if that is your thing, Steve did that with his tuedxo scepter many years back). This one is a player, no breaks or repairs, but I would rate this one a 7/10 condition. There are the typical dings on the points and there is some finish “rash” around the headstock where it hung on a rack that reacted with the finish. Frets are original, alittle bit of pitting on it, but still plenty of life. Ebony board with boomerang inlays. The Lawrence XL500 is not original (obviously) and if you want a Hamer slammer, I can swap that out. But the Lawrence sounds pretty good and is a good combo with the neck pickup. missing the truss rod cover and back trem cover. Comes with a non-orig hardshell case. Shred is alive and kicking, so get in on this pointy monster!!! Asking $985 plus actual shipping costs.

’85 Hamer Scarab II-Want something different, well how about a scarab II in white with matching white explorer headstock. Not as rare as a Maestro, but haven't seen that many with this variation on the theme. Very Clean guitar, I would rate this an 8/10 condition, a couple of dings on the top. No breaks or repairs, frets are original and in excellent shape. Original EMGs and Kahler trem. Comes with a non-orig. hardshell case. Asking $820 plus actual shipping .

Please contact me at Hamstd@gmail.com if you have any questions, need more info, would like to buy something..

I would prefer Money order or cashier's check, I am not set up to take paypal.

I will ship to our friends outside the US if you are willing to cover the shipping costs.

I can provide references if you have any questions, but I hope most people here know me and know my handywork with bubble wrap, styrofoam peanuts and packing tape.

Thanks

Peter.
