Whereabouts would people put the price of a clean original 79 Sunbust these days (assume dot neck with ohsc)? I have none to sell (I have none, period), but am looking into a potential purchase.

Those were at an all-time high in 2007/early 2008, but have come down from the low $2,000s to closer to $1k range. Take some $$ off for lots of wear or changed parts.

Add points for Bound/Crowned necks, stunning tops, rare colors and great condition. Original HS Case helps too.

Take off MAJOR points for broken/repaired headstocks, swapped out pickups, non-original bridge, etc.
