Sustiniacs

My other Hamer question for the experts....

I have never seen a Sustaniac sytem on a setneck Hamer. LOTS on bolt-ons.

But I have seen Sustainiacs on non-Hamer setnecks.

Did Hamer use any on setnecks and I just have never seen any? If not, why?

Does it work better on bolt-ons? That would seem contradictory to the old "set necks have better sustain" myth (which I've yet to see tackled on "Mythbusters.")

well, from experience, sustainers are pricy, even for a manufactor.

so to keep the costs down, install in a bolt on, bolt on far less to make than a set neck.

my 2 cents, guess.

I have pictures of a Marble finish SSI with a sustainer. It looks factory but I don't have a picture of the back so it's hard to know for sure.
