Scarabaeus Posted August 23, 2005 Posted August 23, 2005 Why let this happen? Normal wear is one thing, but abuse like this can be prevented easily. Nice neck art too.
pesocaster Posted August 23, 2005 Posted August 23, 2005 Rivets from Levi's ... then again in the Scarab's heyday these were quite the rage.... Either way.... still sucks...
silentman Posted August 23, 2005 Posted August 23, 2005 It's only paint and it's on the back. Sure they are nice when they are shiney and new, but the good ones get all the wear.
bobsessed Posted August 24, 2005 Posted August 24, 2005 Aw crap.....here we go with "relic-ing again!
Brownsound Posted August 24, 2005 Posted August 24, 2005 I happens because people are inherently mouth-breathing imbeciles that shouldnt breath my air.
Steve Haynie Posted August 24, 2005 Posted August 24, 2005 A finish will wear out in certain places. That I can understand. Chewing up wood is just wrong. Buckle rash can be minimized. Damage to the finish on the back of a neck is inexcusable. I have seen finish wear off of necks from being played, and I have seen the finish on a neck soften and wear off. There is no reason for anyone to put gouges in a neck.
