Advise me about recorder program on windows. Please

Who know about music or record program on windows XP ? I need some program to record my play on PC . Who ever use please advise me . not for Professional just save my play enough and will be good if easy to use.

You could try the free version of Riffworks.

If you like it they have upgrades to paid versions with more features. Even has a drum track feature.
