serial Posted September 13, 2005 Posted September 13, 2005 Damn-I've always wanted one of these w/3 pickups. Cool guits, even though they're not lightweights.

eightyfour Posted September 13, 2005 Posted September 13, 2005 ....great guitar but the Bigsby is only attractive to a select few... I'm definitely one of the few. Absolutely craving a Bigsby'ed humbucker guitar right now. Wish I had the scratch.
MCChris Posted September 13, 2005 Posted September 13, 2005 I have never had any problems whatsoever with any Hamers I've owned and over the years thats been a considerable amount. Gibsons....well...always a crap shoot and have had some basically useless, lifeless wastes of wood no matter what you did to it....I've only owned and played 5-6 PRS's but each one was exceptional out of the box with no tweaking necessary. Also...I feel Gibson is just way too proud of the the usually substandard product they produce and yes I agree...I have had some "magic" Pauls in the past but those are very far and few between. I take it this is one of those "magic" Pauls? LOL

LOL hehe Chris.....no...I have no use for any guitar with a Bigsby on it..this is a new guitar hangin in the store we're gonna blow out at a few dollars over cost
FrankieII Posted September 14, 2005 Posted September 14, 2005 These are very warm sounding LPs with the mahogany versus maple top.
Turdus Posted September 14, 2005 Posted September 14, 2005 I had a triple PU with Bigsby. Sold it about 5 years ago. Great looking guitar, weighed a ton, and had the beefiest neck I've ever seen.
Roxie Fan Posted October 2, 2005 Posted October 2, 2005 Kurtstuff...any trade consideration for a Duesenberg Dip Ice Pearl? The tone kills and the mother of pearl top is absolutely stunning. I'd take a hit on it because it's just too flashy for my skill level. I don't have the chops to match it's looks. Bought new on 19 Sept, warranty card and case candy all intact, paid $3800 for it. Let me know if you're interested and I'll post pics asap....not at my home computer so I can't post one now. Here's a link pic from their site:http://www.duesenbergusa.com/dip.html
