Wiring for: Humbucker x 2, Vol x 2, Tone x 1, 3-way...

So I got a few projects on the go. One is a Dean ML (w/Floyd) that is having 2 alt. humbuckers installed (Cyclone 18k & Wilkinson Zebra [N]). No special requirements here, no out-of-phase, no push-pull. Just straight wiring needed - 2 volumes & 1 tone. Need to get pots/cap etc yet but the wiring schematics is all I need here.

If anyone got the 'know how' drop me a line here.

Also, if someone wants to recommend 1 x Vol w/2 x Tone, speak up.

Simple diagram best for me as I'm no electrician.

All posts/help appreciated.

Vic :)

If your pickups have 4 conductors and two haven't been taped together, you will have a Dickens of a time in figuring out which is the start and end of each coil... those diagrams expect you to know that already.

What in the hell is a Cyclone pickup?

You'll prolly have to get the individual wiring instructions for each pickup, they should tell you which conductors are the start and finish of each of the coils.

Yeah, I did that - just using the 2 wires. Re: Cyclone - It's a covered humbucker (like an EMG) @ 18k-ohm I picked up from eBay for around $7. Dunno if it'll be any good but @ that price, I have nothing to lose. I got plenty of other p-ups knocking around if it's bad. Bought it on a whim & have a hunch it's gonna rip...
