rockfish Posted May 4, 2012 Posted May 4, 2012 I just bought a Nady UHS wireless unit. It's the first wireless I've ever used. My first impression is, that I like it and I'm not hearing any signal problems.......sounds great.I do, however, have a problem with it. How do I hook it up and use a wah and overdrive ??? Using these pedals through a loop sounds HORRIBLE. I tried to hook it up by running a long chord from the wirelss receiver to the wah and back to the amp, but that was very thin sounding........unless I did something wrong.Anyway........... how do you do it ???Frank
Jakeboy Posted May 5, 2012 Posted May 5, 2012 You should be able to put the receiver first in line with your pedals....the same output that would go to your amp would hit pedal #1....I've done this with a wah and run a cord from the wah out to the amp input. You're just putting the wah between the receiver and the amp...
Hamer of the gods Posted May 5, 2012 Posted May 5, 2012 My wireless receiver (Line 6 $99 version) is mounted under my board and I have no problems with wah, fuzz or overdrives.
jisham Posted May 5, 2012 Posted May 5, 2012 I use an X2 Digital Wireless and also have the receiver mounted right on my pedalboard. For cabling, I use a pedalsnake -- http://www.pedalsnake.com/
