Hamer Sighting VH1 classic

Was surfing this morning and stopped on VH1 Classic. They were running an 80s show. Was (not Was) video for 'Do the Dinosour' or some silly title was on and featured a red TLE with boomers and a 6-in line headstock like a scepter. Neato! I have no idea who the guitarist was. I do know he was he had poofy hair kinda like Eddie Martinez, but I don't think it was him.

Another: pale blue special in Peter Wolf's "I Need You Tonight" video.

I love that Was (Not Was) video. Those dancing cavechicks are HOT!

IIRC that was Stevie Salas. I saw that video a couple months back and noticed that.

Eddie M was in a Run DMC vid the other night playing a red Prototype on top of a car.

Not as retro, cool or obscure, but Felicia had the blue stoptail Monaco 3 on Letterman last night. I also got the latest waste of timber, the Sam Ash catalog in the mail yesterday - although they're pushing the Hamer import line, there is a Monaco Superpro on the cover of "Billy Joel for Guitar" instruction book in the back.
