Pot Value For P-Bass

A friend says he wants to change a pot in a Yamaha bass with a P-Bass pickup. What value pot needs to be here when he comes over?

Thanks. At the Fender forum people were getting into discussions on the differences in tone with the different impedance values. Consensus did not exist.

I find talkbass a good reference most of the time but was having a difficult time there too. Then I stumbled on the SD diagram. Has to be the most common set up coming from Mr. Duncan.
