Hamer T51: Strings breaking at the bridge

I picked up a really nice T-51 a while back. This is the model that came with a piezo pickup (T-51F?) which I've never used. I like everything about this guitar - it's the best playing Tele I've owned to date. I especially like the flatter fretboard radius.

However, I've repeatedly been experiencing broken strings - D, e, b (random) - all at the bridge. This is odd for me as I very rarely break strings on any guitar I've own. Is this a known issue with the rather unique bridge that Hamer used on this model (it's all original)? If so, can anyone recommend a fix/adjustment for this?

Thanks for any suggestions.

Take an emery board, folded over emery cloth, or small, fine file and very carefully hit the offending edges. It usually doesn't take much to knock off a sharp edge. I had some Sustain Block saddles doing the same thing, and that cured them.

Greg or Jay (or a hundred other people) might have a better idea, but that worked for me.

I have a USA Strat that just ate strings....I polished each saddle...didn't matter....I slapped on Graph Tech string savers and haven't popped a string since on my Strat.....worked for me.
