BigDaddyDRP Posted August 26, 2013 Posted August 26, 2013 Hello all,Is there a sure way to identify a Hamer Standard Flametop that was made prior to the XT's? I guess if it is pre-XT it would be one of the Korean Mfg. Standards. Thanks,Dom
gorch Posted August 26, 2013 Posted August 26, 2013 Pre-XTs don't not have have XT in the Logo. Headstock logo simply says "Hamer". Guitars are made in Korea.
sledhead44 Posted August 26, 2013 Posted August 26, 2013 I have actually seen Pre-XT Flame Top Standards that were made in Indonesia. They are rare, but they do exist. Just check the back of the headstock to be sure it says made in Korea.
BigDaddyDRP Posted August 26, 2013 Author Posted August 26, 2013 Thanks for the info. It is much appreciated.
