e-isle rock Posted October 9, 2013 Posted October 9, 2013 What would be a good speaker voiced close to a Greenback that can handle 50-75 watts? It will be replacing a blown Eminence Texas Heat in an Ampeg VL-503 combo. Thanks Murkat and Hamerhead for the help BTW with diagnosing that.
Jakeboy Posted October 9, 2013 Posted October 9, 2013 You blew a 150 watt Texas Heat???? Lol...wow!WGS makes a Reaper HP which will handle 50 watts, Eminence has the GB12 at 50 watts, and Weber has a plethora of British speakers with greenback tonality up to 100 watts.
e-isle rock Posted October 9, 2013 Author Posted October 9, 2013 I may have found my answer- Creamback?
e-isle rock Posted October 9, 2013 Author Posted October 9, 2013 Thanks Jakeboy. I'll look into those.
Jakeboy Posted October 9, 2013 Posted October 9, 2013 Heard GREAT things about the Creambacks...haven't tried one yet though......
