Tele feedback like a hollow body??

So I've got this parts tele. 36th Anniv humbucker in the neck. No matter what I put in the bridge position (standard Fender 3 barrel bridge) it feeds back like crazy at higher volumes or higher gain. I added a ground wire from the bridge to the tone pot, that may have helped some but still crazy uncontrollable feedback. Have tried 3 duncans and another boutique pickup (all wax potted), in there with the same results. I've never had this issue before.

Any ideas?

Tried the BFH and "reliced" one of the bridges I have but no joy. The offender goes under the knife today. Found a Billy Gibbons Custom shop BG1400 duncan for the bridge position. Need to add some depth to the bridge cavity and completely re-wire. Still can't figure out why singles squeal and hubuckers do not, but since I'm going with two hums I'm not going to burn any more brain cells trying to figure it out. Thanks for all the help guys.

Get wood screws and mount the pickup to the body and not the bridge.
