Purple 50 watt ValveTech Head FS/'76 Ltd Explorer

I'm funding a serious Custom purchase( keeping it under the radar, don't ask!) so a few great pieces are going.

Mint 2005 50 watt ValveTech in Purple w/ SS/ Tube recto option( this was the very first with this and only 1 of 2 ) No reverb or FX loop( it alters the tone too much)

Glassiest cleans to Fendery tones, and then Marshalls to Metal ( Mesa meets Soldano liquid sustain), very versatile.

4 hole setup, 2 channels with boost, can jump channels like an old Marshall, etc...

Avoid the 8-12 week wait, Rob is so busy right now.

$950

Next, a 1976 Gibson Explorer Limited Edition Mahogany with a Clapton cut. Light, ballsy, great player all around.

Huge neck, tall frets, very resosnant, a killer player. HUGE neck!!

Was refinned after the Clapton cut was added ( the Limited Edition sticker was preserved), new frets, etc.. original hardware and tuners( 6 in a strip), non original Gibson pups, OHSC.

In my opinion, this is a killer players guitar as it sits, but if someone wanted to, this is a project that could be really nice.

Not too many of these around, and this one is a one off with the Clapton cut, straight ones are about $3500-$4000 grand

First $1000 bucks takes it.

I'll get good pics to those interested ASAP ( I have amp pics), but ...

Is that Vtech actually a 2 channel switcher or it has 2 channels but you must unplug from oen to the other? Thanks!!

You can a/b between 1 and 2 or on ch 2 , you can set it clean and set a boost which is footswitchable.

It is an true all tube tube design, not a channel switching amp, which as we well know is always a compromise.

thanks for the quick reply

Hey Rick, is that the Valetech that was on The Gear Page? I really wanted that. Wanna work a deal with one of my guitars?

That Valvetech must be a killer amp. It took me a while to get really familiar with mine, but now I wouldn't let it go.

Hey DEMENTED, I've got that one from the Gear Page. It's a 22W not 50W like the one sonicblue is selling here. These amps don't come around too often, you may want to consider this one.

I'm trying to figure a way to swing it so close to Xmas...I'm kinda short on bling.

Explorer is on HOLD, but the ValveTech is still available.

Get it before Christmas!
