Question about pickup mounting

I have a Carvin bolt with a pick guard and it came with a high output bridge pickup. I decided to replace it ordered a lower output pickup from them and it came with the mounting holes drilled out for a direct mount. Is there a way to use it without direct mounting it?

Thanks.

If you mean on the pickup itself as I assume you do, find a screw or bolt that is a snug fit and mount a nut on the underside of the pickup tab. I have superglued them in place before when a screw hole stripped out

If I ordered it from them, I would call them and tell them to send me the right pickup along with a call tag for the drilled-out one so I could return it on their dime.

Thanks guys. Unfortunately, my experience is if you don't immediately get them, and have to voicemail or email they're slow getting back. I took the guitar apart, then saw the problem.
