So I want to do some promo videos for my solo show, I have an older HD camera that shoots it MTS, I have had problems converting this to a "useable" format so I am thinking of getting a new camera for "work"
The gopro seem to be trying to be an "industry standard" but there are offerings from sony, and zoom that get good marks as well.
My question(s)
1. Can you take pictures out of the video stream, is the quality good enough to pull pictures from? nothing fancy, not to print pics from, just for website use.
2. Sound, I may do recordings from a soundboard and mix them with the video in Studio One, so it has to be a format that S1 can manipulate(MTS is NOT)
I am getting pretty excited about getting some more shows lined up, and hope to be able to put together a decent press pack and publicity materials together. It's a lot of work to get this play thing going
