kurtsstuff Posted January 4, 2006 Posted January 4, 2006 So...this can be used as an amp head switcher as well??
HAMERMAN Posted January 4, 2006 Author Posted January 4, 2006 So...this can be used as an amp head switcher as well?? Not when only using one cabinet. It switches line or instrument level signals or provides a relay closure. It can switch a guitar level signal between two or more heads that each have their own cabinet but cannot switch between multiple heads using one cab (which would require dealing with much higher level power amp outputs and properly loading the unused heads). If you want to share a cabinet this would probably do the trick:http://www.zzounds.com/item--RADHBVT

I had one of those Radial things but....You cannot use any kind of delay or you'll fry the gizmo...
HAMERMAN Posted January 4, 2006 Author Posted January 4, 2006 I should mention that you cannot make selections from the front panel so you would need a programmable MIDI foot controller. That would include the Ground Control, Ground Control Pro, Rocktron All Access, Axess FX1 and the Behringer FCB1010 (and probably some other ones I have missed).

I own the GCX as well and can attest it's a great piece of equipment whether you use it to switch your rack mounted digital effects or your analog effects pedals on a rackmounted sliding shelf. Hey Kurtsstuff, If you have a DMC Ground Control (v2.4), I'm interested in acquiring one. Let me know if you got one. Guitar George
