Pickup cover for Di Marzio PAF

I have an old 1976 Di Marzio PAF, which I'm planning to put on my thinline Tele, anyone know if a standard nickel silver cover will fit, or do I have to get a Di Marzio ?

I realise I'm going to lose a little high end, but it's pretty bright as it is; just think  exposed double creme bobbins on a Thinline doesn't look right.

Reading online that a little silicone between bobbins and  the cover will reduce feedback, (I can't get wax potting done here) a little worried if I use too much I'll never be able to remove the cover.

    Regards Jaberwock

"spacing" should be the same or very close to a gibson humbucker.

DiMarzio's do not like hot wax, potting. They melt.

But a lil dab from a candle in the can to contact the top bobbin should be okay....
