Great american sound

Question

Accusonic corporation "great american sound" speakers.

Anyone with info?  I recently bought a 4 12 cabinet with these speakers in it. Rated at 125 watts, they sound awesome!

Have searched Google,  know that they are used in  some fender amp replacements...

Just wondering if anyone else has info?

I did a Google Images search, and I found a few photos of several of these speaker cabinet labels having brand-name font similar to the one you posted, on audio (as in Hi-Fi/Stereo) speaker cabinets, with the 'Great American Sound' moniker AND crediting Accusonic Corporation for something related to it.  The label gives an Ontario, Canada address, so perhaps they're Canadian made, or it's a Canadian company?  I couldn't find a specific company website, though:

Saw that too. These are loaded in a fuzz covered cabinet marked "punch sound" .

Not a lot of info on any of this.  The guy I got it from got it second hand...third hand....8th hand...

For a hundred bux, I think I win!

Yup, Canadian. A distributor, not a manufacturer.
Located in the east end of the Tronna clusterfuck.

Yup, saw this too.

Some more research came up with punch head amps....Canadian Fer sure eh, as I'm north of 60, but still not a lot of clues.

Great cab tho, and thanx for the input!
