Effects order for live sound support

What order should these go in for live sound support? Small room (house party)

Equalizer

Reverb

Compressor

BBE Sonic Maximizer

If the intention is to plug in and be low maintenance:

comp, eq, maximizer, reverb

As with guitar pedalboards there are a dozen different ideas for any combo- all of them with interesting explaination. My take would be either:

Equalizer

Compressor

Reverb

BBE Sonic Maximizer

or:

Compressor

Reverb

Equalizer

BBE Sonic Maximizer

The BBE puts all the signal pieces in order (after they've been messed with inside the electronics.) If you compress the reverb, the tail echoes will be squashed and ultimately sound louder. EQ at the front of the chain if there's something really funky you need to control. Or at the end if you just want to tweak for the room.

I think if you swipe Eddie Van Stoppit's guitar cables or put a big ass tarp over his amp, you can put those effects in any order you wish.
