DCWalters Posted February 21, 2006 Posted February 21, 2006 This is going to pain me big time, but it is time to let go of my G&L John Jorgenson. There were onlt 190 of these guitars made and this one is in excellent condition. I have had this guitar for roughly 7 years and it has been played by me maybe 10 or 12 hours total. I have never gigged with this guitar, it was bought as a collectors piece. I would consider a trade for a USA Hamer. If you are interested in it please let me know. all of the case candy is included.
kizanski Posted February 21, 2006 Posted February 21, 2006 all of the case candy is included. How about strings?**ducking**Darren is a good guy, folks. Have no fear of this HFC n00b.I'm Kizanski and I approve this thread.
DCWalters Posted February 21, 2006 Author Posted February 21, 2006 I will even throw in a set of strings!!! I took them off the other day when I was giving the guitar its monthly cleaning. Kiz thanks for the endorsement...now nobody will buy it!!! Seriously though I really do appreciate it.
cmatthes Posted February 21, 2006 Posted February 21, 2006 Those are KILLERS. I've played two of that edition, and both were exceptional guitars. And that freakin' finish...OMG!!!!!!
DCWalters Posted February 21, 2006 Author Posted February 21, 2006 The sparkle finish is INSANE From my understanding G&L had to contract the paint work out to a guy in Houston, I cannot remember his first name but I think it is Marty Bell. This is a rare beast but I do not see any sense in keeping it if it is not being used.
cmatthes Posted February 21, 2006 Posted February 21, 2006 It was (is) Marty Bell. He does incredible work.
DCWalters Posted February 23, 2006 Author Posted February 23, 2006 THANKS EVERYONE, BUT MY ASAT HAS FOUND A NEW HOME.
DCWalters Posted February 23, 2006 Author Posted February 23, 2006 I traded it for a 2004 American Deluxe Strat, the 50th Anniv model two tone burst with a maple board and gold hardware. This guitar is sweet, never used still has the hang tags on the headstock! It is for sale too! $1350.00 obo...any takers!
