Fender Custom Shop 250K Pots

Question

I bought these a few years back and they are by far the best Pots that I have ever had in a guitar. Unfortunately I could not get more, nothing works like these do. When you roll these off its like turning down the knob on your stereo, everything remains intact it just get quieter all the way down to Zero. No need for treble bleeds or anything like that, nothing has worked and i'm tired of spending money on pots trying to chase these the dragon. Anybody have any ideas? They are indeed 250K, i've check them on a meter.

Is it a linear taper pot? Guitar pots are typically audio taper pots but some guys like linear pots.

I know I'm going to screw this up describing it, but audio pots I think have a graduated, exponential curve that supposedly works more like human hearing, where a linear on "3" is supposedly 30 percent, on "5" is 50 percent, on "8" is 80 percent.

These are essentially the identical part number.  The only difference being the Fender part has FDR instead of GTR (guitar?).  Ignore the photo showing knurled shafts, the description says smooth.

I cannot believe that I didn't look at the part # on the bag. I may buy two and see if they sound the same. I have three telecaster and my go to is always the one with these pots. It is so versatile with the volume knob and I can't get a bad sound out of it.

According to one of the engineers at bourn, these were Fender Specific. The part number referenced above is as close as you can get. So we will see.

Did the share how they were different?  I get the 375k pots from Fender and haven’t found the right person to tell me where else I can buy them.

These are exactly the same as the Custom Shop ones. I’m stoked, I purchased them on Amazon. I’m still fine tuning the tone pot to see what works best for me. I need to order some caps and try some out.
