tomteriffic Posted July 17, 2023 Posted July 17, 2023 It appears I've acquired way more speakers than amps and cabs. I've run out of room and, being realistic, I seriously doubt I'll ever install them and use them. So... FIRST OFF: All of these have been impedance and continuity tested and the cones have been given a gentle push or two to check for cone/voice coil rub. Impedances noted in the descriptions. Some of these are new or extremely low miles. Others have been used but are fully functional. A few have been freshly reconed and test just fine. Some new, some old, some boo-teeky some faithful working grunt. Descriptions relative to the pictures: left to right top row, bottom row. Terms: Cash or money order is highly preferred, PPF&F if you know me/we have some history. All prices plus shipping. Discounts for multiple items, CONUS only. Not interested in trades (probably). I'm going on very little data on some of the older stuff pricewise. Feel free to argue. In general, I've priced these to sell. I need the money but I need the space worse. OK then: Batch #1 Eminence 10508 (?) 10" OEM in recent Fender Bassman series. Well used. 8 ohm. $35 Eminence 10516. As above, basically new, I bought the wrong impedance, brand new, 16 ohm $45 Fender OEM Somethingorother. 10" 8 ohm. Original equipment in the Super Champ XD, very low miles. $45 Weber Michigan 10 Weber's clone of an EVM, low miles. 8 ohm. Heavy, loud. Old style cone and basket. $50 Eminence Somethingorother. 12" 8 ohm I pulled this out of an 80's Peavey monitor cab. Cab was rated at 100 Watt power handling so... $40 Eminence Ramrod Alnico 10" 8 ohm. Bring your Super Champ alive. Like new, thanks, Jim. $125 Celestion Seventy 80. 12" 16 ohm. New pull from a Marshall DSL 40. Like new, very low hours. $50 Batch #2 CTS 12" Alnico magnet My guess is 1970's Recent recone, 8 ohm. $50. Celestion G12H-100 8 ohm. Lived in Jeff Ree-shard's Mesa 2 x 12 for years, British made. $175 And the piece(s) de resistance 1962 pre-Celestion Rolas 12" Alnicos Freshly reconed 8 ohms each. PLEASE NOTE: These are a Set, NOT a pair. They were pulled from a 1962 Hammond B100 in sad but working shape. One speaker is optimized for highs, the other for lows, but there really isn't a helluva lot of difference. Still, I'd recommend using them together to get the most out of them. 20 watts or so power handling per the reconer. Put these under your lunchbox amp and let 'er rip. Will only sell as a set. $200. django49 Posted July 17, 2023 Posted July 17, 2023 LAST thing I need is an excuse for building even more cabs. Recently built a few more and I have sworn off......Now if that Weber 10 was an alnico..... GLWTS
