2003 Gibson R8 FS/FT

I'm selling this to get an R9. I hope I can find one that sounds and plays as well as this one. The only trade I'd be really interested in is a trade up into an R9 or for vintage gear. It's a 2003 Plaintop R8 that weighs in at 8lbs 12oz. The neck is fat as most of these are and feels great. The fretboard is very evenly colored and dark. It plays perfectly and sounds fantastic. It includes the original black Custom Shop case, COA, and case candy. It has a pair of double white Peter Florance VooDoo 59s installed along with russian foil-in-oil caps at the moment. I will sell it like it is or return it to stock with the Burstbuckers and reissue bumblebees if you prefer. The guitar is set up for .011s at the moment. There is some oxidation of the nickel hardware. There is virtually no fret wear. There are a few very small nicks or impressions in the finish. I found two small dings on the back edge. I have a complete set of hi-res pics available by email that detail the guitar's condition. Please contact me for them.
