Hamer Standard Custom tailpiece

I've got a tailpiece that's lost it's gold... I tried a Gibson one, and it didn't fit. I remember someone saying the bridges were Imperial, but the tailpiece was metric... odd.

Anyone know for sure? Is there a brand with better gold plating, Gotoh or Tonepros etc...

I also need a couple metric jack nuts and washers (for a different project) in gold... lots of Imperial ones around...

I had a Standard with gold hardware once, and the tailpiece had the gold finish worn and tarnished from playing, so I simply polished the original tailpiece.  Yeah, it looked more like chrome than gold once it was shined up, but it didn't look bad at all (looking at it from a distance, it wasn't obvious IMO), plus it was still original.  The tailpiece still looked much nicer than it was before it was polished up.
