HamerHokie Posted April 10, 2006 Posted April 10, 2006 I've decided to get rid of these, but I don't want to ship so I'm prolly limiting this to the DC-Balt-Philly-York PA region. I can easily drive to do the exchange in these areas. I don't have photos yet but it's this model here: Physical details - felt-carpet covered, large ported cabinets, pole mount hole on the top, wheels and handles for tilt-moving around. Power - one of the units contains the power amp, the other is connected via cabling (included). Used alone, the power amp delivers 800 watts to one 18" speaker. Connected to the passive companion unit, the power amp delivers 1200 watts to two 18" speakers. Connections - the powered unit takes a standard XLR feed from the mixing board. The built in crossover sends a hi-pass signal above 120 Hz to your powered high-packs or your power amps for the mids/highs. We used them with a pair of Mackie tri-amped powered high-packs, achieving a very economical four-way system. New these go for about $1400 a pair plus shipping, which can run in the $150 range. I'm selling for $750, as I said I will meet the buyer to deliver and do the transaction. Includes both subs, power cord, cabling, and manual. I take Paypal, cashier's check or money order. Email me by clicking on my name up there and you'll find my email address in my profile.
Jimbilly Posted April 10, 2006 Posted April 10, 2006 I keep thinking how cool something like one of those would be as half a bass rig; put your 2x10 on top, run a preamp with a crossover (like the Alembic f1x, or just any crossover), and a small power amp for the 210. I'm nearly certain that would kill a 'stack' of 2 410s, or just about any other bass cab.
blackfbiv Posted April 10, 2006 Posted April 10, 2006 Yabbut, you'd have to be 37 and a half feet away from them to hear 'em. Dion

Jimbilly Posted April 11, 2006 Posted April 11, 2006 I already 'have some', the church I play at has a pair of similar sized mackies, the kick drum and I share them. I'm just giving you more potential buyers!
HamerHokie Posted April 13, 2006 Author Posted April 13, 2006 I've got some pics now. Here's the backs:
tafkathundernotes Posted April 13, 2006 Posted April 13, 2006 Yabbut, you'd have to be 37 and a half feet away from them to hear 'em. Dion That's probably about right. I have a 2x15 cab that's not too loud in front of it, but will knock you over about 20 feet away.
