From what I can tell... 1984 USA Hamer SportOMatic.  Little to no information found online.  Hamer Guitar owners (KMC Music) has no information available for the SportOMatic.  Custom features - excellent deep cherry red finish, carved flamed maple top. Mahogany back.  Crown fretboard inlays.  Black (Hamer) tuners, knobs, bridge (narrow spaced) and selector switch.  Double cutaway.  Same construction as the Hamer Sunburst, but with black hardware and SportOMatic label on headstock.  Guessing it was a custom-order.  Original Hamer hard sided case.

Would appreciate any additional info or referral source.  Thanks.  Doug K.

It was a Hamer Sunburst ordered by Sam Moss Guitars in Winston-Salem, NC.  I saw it in Sam’s shop shortly before he got the first “ Electraglide” in a few months later.  He also had one after this with similar specs, but in. 3-tone or darkburst, that read “Duoglide” on the headstock.

That's what I was going to say. Not really, I know nothing, but what a cool guitar and Sportomatic name!
