Why order a new one when I could just replace the base plate??? Cause ordering a new one is expensive, and I don't see how it's justified getting a new one, everything else on the Hamer Floyd works fine... Then order a base plate.....You answered your own question??

Well..stranger things have happened..I just bought a Cali and the owner did not know if it was USA or import....it's USA...

I've never seen an import Cali with the natural wood stripe along the bottom of the headstock. It looks USA but that little usa at the end of the logo is hard to miss and I can't see it in the pic??

Pretty positive the body is USA...Right down to the Dunlop straplock buttons...The neck I'm not so sure about??
