I gotta tell ya the refurbished Marantz PM 8004 sounds great right out of the box. I'll spend a little time with it today and give a more in depth opinion. Thanks, JB!

For one .. it is very light, between 7 and 8 lbs. You can also tap the top and hear the hollowness of it.

He's one of those guys who has had a lot of radio play, but you don't really notice it 'until' you've seen him live. I spent a few days with him in Key West filming a video with Samuel Bayer. He's a real down-to-earth cool guy.
