Monaco Elite- some WCR's went into this one, and I love it. Artist Custom- thinking about some Wolfetones in this one. Melancon Cajun Gentleman- TV Jones and a Bigsby in a chambered Tele-shaped guitar. Perfection? Perhaps... Earthen Maple Talladega- scheduled to finally arrive tomorrow. Always wanted a Tally, can't wait to play it!

What would that be, veatch? Currently I'm playing my Artist more than anything, but I'm about to drop some WCRs into a Monaco Elite...I'll see what happens then. Anyway, this thread has opened my eyes to other builders. The Melancon Cajun Gentleman has my interest...

Big Star. Also, my internet name evolved from the band Sonvolt. I was Sonvolt73 for a while on another (now defunct) forum, and was nicknamed "sonny" back then. So there you go. Being a Sonvolt fan means I also need to give a shout-out to Uncle Tupelo (I don't really need to mention Wilco do I?).

Not to get too far off topic, but I'd never heard of Knagg's Guitars before this post- I just saw an "Influence Tier 1" on eBay that caught my eye...

The Starcaster has those Fender "Wide Range" humbuckers- I'd suggest really testing a guitar with those before buying. About a year ago I bought a 72 American Thinline Tele Reissue with the WRH pickups, and I just could never bond with it. The bridge pickup was "ok" but the neck pickup just fell flat tonally- it just didn't have much going for it. Apparently Fender doesn't make the WRH pickups the same way they did in the 70's- the materials now being too expensive. The pickups can be modded to 70's specs, but I decided to sell that guitar instead. Oh well, I was never going to sound like Tab Benoit anyway.
