I always enjoy seeing a band cover someone else. I don't know if I would break down into tears after playing purple rain though (I thought he was kidding at first). Maybe cut the soy out of your diet.

Basically unused. I believe this has the Rio Grande BBQ / TX combo pickups. Abalone dot inlays on a nice rosewood board. Some separation of the clear in a few spots along the side of the fret board due to drying out a bit at at some point. It has since been kept in a humidity controlled area during storage. Everything else is in excellent shape. Full neck with like new frets. Plays fast and comfortable with a nice set-up. This is a feather weight guitar at 6 lbs 10 oz on my scale. These are super rare as I am sure you know. The case is gigantic so it will cost a bit to ship or pickup is welcome in Bear, DE. $3500 plus shipping.

That guitar ticks a lot of boxes for me. I prefer a Kahler, single pickup, inline headstock.

I am guessing they accepted an offer on the side or sold it locally.

Letting go of another NOS Charvel. New in the box and glorious. The Blue Crackle finish is immaculate. It features Jackson pickups. (I imagine J80 or J90 Humbucker and J100 singles? I didn't want to disturb anything. Reverse headstock with reverse shark inlays. Rosewood board. German Shaller Floyd rose which is a nice upgrade from the JT6 the earlier models had. Still has the protective film on the truss cover. The pics don't do it justice. $2500 plus shipping. Once in a lifetime here.

Another old school Robin video was posted. This one a kid's show. I was pretty shocked that they only made 300 guitars / year in 1997.

I got a nice deal on a 2005 Wrangler Exotic top Koa. It is pretty flawless. It has a hot bridge single coil maybe a Muy Grande.

I mainly play guitar sitting in my office chair. I put an actual strap on the guitar and stood up and I am about two standard deviations a crappier player now.

I use funny ways to get myself to not buy a guitar unless it moves me on a higher level. "It is missing the truss rod cover", "If it only had a reverse headstock", "neck binding would make me buy this".

Picked up another Machete yesterday. Neck-through construction, beautiful ebony board. I think it is a 1989 but doesn't have the usual serial number on the back of the headstock. I had a 1988 Medley, transparent green, swamp ash top, mahogany body and neck, neck through, same pickups. I regretted selling that one until now.
