  1. OK, that makes sense. I was thinking it was some kind of silkscreen or something that was applied at the factory.
  2. "They had 25 of these made in 1978 to commemorate their 25th Anniversary" So.... if I'm interpreting this correctly, HOG commissioned 25 LP's to be built in 77-78 to celebrate the LP's 25 anniversary - not the HOG's 25th anniversary? Sound right?
  3. So.... given the HOG year of opening and other info, does in seem more likely it's an 80's guitar?
  4. Why was the HOG and LP info so faint?
  5. FRESH POTTTTTT!!!!
  6. SOunds good! I'm a little cautious since Pickguardian can't replicate exactly. We see what Fretsonthenet has to say ..
  7. Just received an email from Tony Dudzik at Pickguardian and he says that he can get close in shape but not exact. Gibson uses a different manufacturing process that allows for sharper corners etc. Hmmm... I thought I sent an email to Fretsonthenet but I guess I didn't. I'll send an email and see what they say. Forgot to mention, Tony would need a tracing as a sample (which I don't have). I'll update with the response from Fretsonthenet.
  8. I sent an email to Pickgurdian so we'll see how it goes. Thanks for all the help!
  9. You just need to measure the distances between the holes, it's a simple three hole bell cover right? No, it's the one that looks like a Gibson trc - two screws Like these .... http://www.gibson.com/en-us/Divisions/Gibs...20Rod%20Covers/
  10. Thanks for the link! Is there any way you could scan the trc and post as a file? Might be easier than trying to explain what I need. Thanks!
  11. Does anyone know of a place that sells the old style 'bell' trc that will fit a Hamer? This is the one that looks like a Gibson trc. The hole spacing is different between a Hamer and the Gibson trc so the only way it will fit is to drill a new hole and plug the original. Works, but it seems like a proper sized trc is a neater soluton. Thanks!
