If nobody bids I may offer a borderline-insulting amount just to see what happens. It could be a fun project with the end result being a good playing bass with virtually no resale value.
velorush Posted June 3, 2024 Posted June 3, 2024 This would be a much simpler project had it not been "fixed" already. It might be a pill to undo the "fix" depending on what adhesives were employed. To the plus side, those cases are pretty hard to come by; the truss rod covers even more so.
Hamer95USA Posted June 6, 2024 Posted June 6, 2024 My 1982 1st generation Cruisebass looks equally as worn & dinged as that bass minus the damaged headstock. I sure want that OEM hardshell case though.
Jim85IROC Posted June 6, 2024 Author Posted June 6, 2024 Bass went unsold. He relisted it and I put in a low offer that he hasn't responded to yet (and probably won't). I guess we'll see!

Jim85IROC Posted June 7, 2024 Author Posted June 7, 2024 Bass is no longer listed, and it's not because the seller accepted my offer 😂
