Feynman Posted July 5, 2024 Author Posted July 5, 2024 I can't believe with everything they let through in the charts today, they censored 'dance and drink and screw.' Be sure to include that when you make your metal cover. ETA: I also can't understand how this isn't one of the top songs of all time. It should be. Let's do our part.

Great songwriting, straightforward and effective, plus awesome lyrics. And the arrangement is very intelligent, its “density” goes in crescendo, it’s like if they were adding layers progressively. How this song went under my radar is hard to understand. Thanks a lot for sharing it!
zorrow Posted July 5, 2024 Posted July 5, 2024 I just listened to the long version on Spotify: I like the shorter version better. The full-length version becomes too concrete towards the last section, the lyrics start thinking for me and I prefer thinking for myself. It turns almost into a pamphlet. But with the longer version we can dance, drink and (hopefully) screw more, right? 😜
Feynman Posted July 5, 2024 Author Posted July 5, 2024 No appreciator of this song can fail to include William Shatner. Thanks for listening.
The Shark Posted July 5, 2024 Posted July 5, 2024 I read the thread title and thought, "Oh God, my wife joined the forum"!
