Early Sunbursts production numbers?

Vintage Hamer-Lover

Question

Posted

I'd love to know how many early Sunbursts with that special one-piece-bridge were produced in the Seventies? And how many in the Eighties? The 'regular' Hamer Serial numbers in the 70' have been 1450 guitars, right?  Have these all been Sunbursts? (plus the four-digit Standards and Custom models)

This info could be in "The Ultimate " book. But sorry, don't remember 😏.

Also interesting how many were shipped. To which countries? My impression is, there are still quite many in Germany...

In any case: Thank You very much for Your help in advance 🙏

Wonderful! 😍

Do You have any information about early Sunbursts Production amounts?

Chris here on the HFC really is the person with the knowledge to speak to your question. There is an old list that was compiled here years ago but that list from what I understand is far from complete...................the guitar I just showed you wasn't listed on it.

That wasn’t me.

There really isn’t a list of the production numbers by model available.  Somebody would have to go through all the various logbooks and do an individual line-by-line count, and that just hasn’t been done.

Thats just not how Hamer tracked things.
