Selling my 1965 Ampeg B15-N.  The absolute king of studio/small stage bass amps.

I've had this one for about 5 years and have recently completed a full inspection and maintenance service by Third Coast Amp Repair.  The service included replacing the electrolytic capacitors and a few other small parts.  I've kept all original components except for the power cord, which was replaced with a grounded 3 prong version.

Prior to the tune-up, I replaced all tubes with new TungSol and JJ glass and installed a new Eminence Beta 15A speaker.  The original 1966 tubes and speaker still function and are included.  I replaced them to preserve the original parts, not because they weren't working.  The original handle was well worn, so I installed a new exact duplicate replacement.  The original handle is included.

The amp sounds great and is studio quiet.

I have the amp listed on Reverb with lots of photos: REVERB LINK

Local pickup in Marengo, IL (approximately halfway between Chicago and Rockford, IL) or I can meet for a hand-off in Chicago suburbs, Madison, WI or other reasonable distances.  I've done deliveries in the parking lot at Dave's Guitar in La Crosse and would be happy to do so again.  Sorry, no shipping on this one.

$2,500 cash.  I'll take Paypal if you cover the fees.

3 6L7 preamp tubes, 2 6L6 power tubes and a GZ34 rectifier

$160 for the full set, but the originals lasted for 57 years and still work

By the way,  The B15-n is a really great sounding amp for guitar as well as bass. I have an Esquire with a baritone neck that sounds amazing through this amp.
