ZR Posted January 31 Posted January 31 (edited) The first of many? Who knows? Damn, guess I'm too old to operate this thing! I had a link to a cool pic but tried to add an image from URL and it just wouldn't work! Edited January 31 by ZR 3 Quote
ZR Posted January 31 Author Posted January 31 (edited) Thank you!! 😊 It kept taking forever then I'd get a 503 error screen or whatever number it was!! Edited January 31 by ZR 2 Quote
RobB Posted January 31 Posted January 31 Looks like a quality, affordable belt-drive turntable. This (or any Project TT in the entry-mid pricepoint) would make a great starter deck for anyone getting into vinyl. Project makes great products, and know how to reduce unwanted resonance in their TTs. Alas, I am a direct-drive kinda guy happy with my 20lb Kenwood from the 70s. 3 Quote
mrjamiam Posted January 31 Posted January 31 Project was one of JohnnyB's recommendations. I have one on his say-so, albeit without the graphics. Guess they didn't have the balls to do LoveDrive?  4 Quote
ZR Posted January 31 Author Posted January 31 Haha, I have an old Dual! The new ones look cool but these old ones just don't die!! 3 Quote

Yup me too... picked up a Direct drive Dual CS-721 for $12 at my local Goodwill... It was missing the arm counterweight but used an extra one I had laying around... cleaned it up, and works perfectly 😃 I've picked up some incredible vintage stereo equipment from my local thrift stores... It's amazing what people get rid of 😳 Edited January 31 by Dave Scepter 2 Quote
ZR Posted January 31 Author Posted January 31 Wow, that's a classic. Great deal!! I have a Dual CS 627 Q direct drive. It's a newer model than yours but has good specs. I use an old Empire 2000E/III from the 70s but with a NOS stylus a friend had. Wish I had that old style with the wood. Mine is more plastic.  2 Quote
