SDOD - Squier Paranormal Jazzmaster XII - $299

Weird though - ordered one and when I went back to the SDOD page it had changed to an MXR pedal.  Curious, George.

Anyway these things get mostly great reviews ('for the money') so we'll see.

ETA: Now the link says they're $429?? WTF?

Thank you. I get the MXR hybrid fuzz pedal at their sdod link. However when googling I did see this place has "Refurbished - Mint" ones listed for $299.

Holy crap. It's here already! And the reviews weren't lyin' - this thing is really nice. Plays/stays in tune and sounds decent straight into the TMDR. I wouldn't be afraid to gig it just as it sits.

I almost didn't jump because the last cheap 12 string I got was basically unplayable and got moved pretty quickly. The one before that was an Eclipse that I should have kept (I know, I know). And even before that was a Danelectro that I sold to get the Eclipse (and shoulda kept that one, too!). 

This slots in nicely between the Dano and the Hamer. Definitely a more robust build than the Dano, but the Dano's lipstick pickups sounded better. The Squier is a little harsh at the bridge and a little muddy at the neck. They play really well together and that will save them.....for now. I'm already thinking some kind of 'tron in there would be better, but we're only a couple hours in.

I really didn't expect it to be this good.
