That would have been a great show! 

A buddy wanted to see Bonamassa here but by the time we figured all the costs it would have been close to $700 (2 decent tickets, parking, beers, taking the wives to dinner for making them go, etc etc etc). I can get 2 Hamers for that.

My son caught the Wolf Trap show last week here outside of DC.  He said that Warren/Mule absolutely blew Joe B's doors off.

I prefer Mule to JB because Mule is more of a band, whereas everyone on stage with JB is there to back him up.  JB's keyboard player was very good, mind you, and he got a lot of solos, but at the end of the day it's JB's show.  Whereas Mule sounds like more of a cohesive band.

I really wanted to catch that show. I love Joe, I’ve seen him live most of the times he has come to Peoria, but I have to be honest I don’t listen to much of his Music. I do love listening to Gov’t Mule and Warren Haynes music and it is always in rotation. 

I did feel that when JB added Josh to the band he did loosen up a bit. It could just be age, it could just be the band. 

Also, WHERE DOES WARREN FIND THESE BASS PLAYERS ! They all have been killer and the new guy is insane.
