Blueshound Posted April 6, 2005 Posted April 6, 2005 Got to free up some cash for a new guitar. First up is a Copper Chap bolt on. This ain't no beauty queen. She's got her share of nicks and bruises but there are no structural issues whatsoever. There some minor fret wear towards the nut, but not too bad. I had it refretted with jumbos, so there's a little more meat than there would be stock but it is nowhere near what there would be with extra jumbos. The Floyd has seen better days and the new owner will probably want to replace it (or block it if you don't use it) as it doesn't seem to stay in tune as well as it used to. I tried to capture some of the bigger nicks, but I'm not much of a photographer. Actually the pictures make it look better than what it is. Looking to get $300 with case. Where else are you gonna get a USA shredder for this kind of dough? You know you want it. Next up is an ADA MP-1. Works perfectly. Software version 2.01. There is some rack rash on the ears and some on the bottom of the unit, but nothing serious. Relive the 80's. $125 Thanks for looking. Lee
kurtsstuff Posted April 6, 2005 Posted April 6, 2005 Too bad ya won't ship...I'd take the preamp???????? Ah hell...and the guitar too!
Nuclear Wessel Posted April 6, 2005 Posted April 6, 2005 That is sweet! I bet I'd look cool playing it too. Not as much my style as it used to be, but muy cool!
Guest cruster Posted April 6, 2005 Posted April 6, 2005 Where are you at in Wisconsin? I'm in Michigan, so I guess 1/2 way would be Escanaba, eh? My wife is flying up to St. Paul tomorrow night, could you meet her up there? Serioulsy, nice looking Chap. The copper is very cool, it has 24 frets and the price is right. If I hadn't just dumped stoopid amounts of money into my homebuilt tube amp project, I'd jump on it. =(
Blueshound Posted April 6, 2005 Author Posted April 6, 2005 I live near Wausau. Draw a line from the Twin Cities and Green Bay and towards the middle of that would be Wausau. Lee
Guest cruster Posted April 6, 2005 Posted April 6, 2005 Oh, I know where Wausau is. I'm a native Minnesotan (Go Gophers!) transplanted here in Meeshegan where they (wrongly) believe that Ann Arbor is home to the real UoM. Having made the trip back (driving) many times, I know where a few other obscure little towns are, too. =) That stretch of county roads from Menominee/Marinette across through Wausau and Eau Claire is a long ride. But, on the topic of your FS item...I seriously would consider it, especially given the less-than-bottom-feeder-friendly price. Just have this p1x thing I'm building that has gotten a bit out of hand (hey, oversize trannys are a good thing, right?<G>). Good luck!
kurtsstuff Posted April 6, 2005 Posted April 6, 2005 Ship the MP-1 to me for $150.00....shipping on an mp-1 across country is usually $15.00....Come on!! lol!
Blueshound Posted April 6, 2005 Author Posted April 6, 2005 Tell you what, if I don't sell this stuff locally, you have first dibs on the guitar and preamp. Lee
black magic Posted April 6, 2005 Posted April 6, 2005 Bump for a great Chap and an awsome color. Jack.
Blueshound Posted April 15, 2005 Author Posted April 15, 2005 Thought I had a buyer for the MP-1 but he backed out. The MP-1 is still available. $125+shipping. Absolutely no issues whatsoever. Everything works the way it should. Great MIDI tube preamp for cheap. Lee
