Travis Posted July 20, 2006 Posted July 20, 2006 I've got for sale here a Warmoth Tele neck. It's maple/maple with a nice light birdseye, in very good shape. There is a small cigarette burn on the headstock right in between the A and D string tuners. I don't smoke, it was like this when I got it. It has the boat back profile and 6100 frets with very minimal wear. These are just some pics I ripped off from the guy who sold it to me. I can take others if requested. Neck sells WITHOUT the tuners, but WITH the string retainers. $150 + shipping in the CONUS. Paypal accepted.
Travis Posted July 21, 2006 Author Posted July 21, 2006 Weekend bump. If the price is too high, make me an offer. Worst I can do is say no.
Punkavenger Posted July 22, 2006 Posted July 22, 2006 can you put the tele neck on the strat body?A friend of mine found something like that at a thrift shop ... an old one from the 60's or 70's all beat to shit, it even has some BONDO showing!$20,000 worth of guitars and it's his favorite one
Travis Posted July 22, 2006 Author Posted July 22, 2006 No, a Tele neck will not fit on a Strat body. The butts are shaped differently. I believe the old 21 fret necks were interchangeable, but that was a very long time ago.
Punkavenger Posted July 22, 2006 Posted July 22, 2006 Thats probaly what he had ... or maybe thats where the bondo came into play
Travis Posted July 22, 2006 Author Posted July 22, 2006 I forgot to mention the nut width is 1 11/16" and the finish is oiled with wax rubbed on after. But it almost feels like a raw maple neck. Oh yeah, and a 10-16 compund radius.
JES1680 Posted July 22, 2006 Posted July 22, 2006 I've got a buddy that loves these. I sent him the link.
