I don't want to insult u with this offer ,but would u take $350.00 considering it's a Jap parts guitar ! ROB NYC

NY ESP guitars are not "Jap parts guitars". This guitar was made specifically as it is, for a store that Nitebob was working for.

A parts guitar is what you build on your bench.

Different things, indeed.

I guess what your saying is because 48th street custom made the guitar according to Nitebob specs it's not a parts guitar !! ok if u say so . Like I said I didn't want too insult any-body...

Sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo...............

if I go to Mexico & buy a Fender Mexican body, a Fender Mexican neck, Fender Mex pickups & Hardware....bring it to 48th St custom in NYC (where I live), & they assemble it 4 me to my specs....now does this make this a USA fender??? (minus the tweed case) LOL....i don't think so

Rob,

I have reconsidered your offer. We'll call it $350.00 for the ESP and ... say $250.00 for shipping. That comes to a total of oh... let's see... $600.00 Deal?

Rob, don't be a dick. You are too smart for this kind of shit.

USA Ibanez guitars are assembled from Japanese parts. Are they parts guitars?

If you don't want to pay what he wants, leave the thread alone.

Can I offer you $350 for your 25/50 Les Paul because its probably a dog with lousy pickups?

A little more info.....

The Blue ESP was not put together at 48st Custom Guitars on 48th Street. ESP had a shop in the west 20's in NYC that set up guitars after they were shipped from the factory in Japan. This guitar was never listed in an ESP catalog. Traditional Series guitars like this are very rare.

Thanks for chippin in with the additional info, Nitebob. Somebody's gonna give it a good home.

I'm not interested... but I have to say that ESPs are top notch quality guitars... custom shop that is... and the standard series are good too... so if anyone has any doubts about Jap guitars and such... don't worry... once you play it... you can hardly tell the difference...:blink::blink:

I've had a couple of folks question whether the neck is legit ESP. Here's a little info from nitebob on the validity of the neck as being from ESP.

Hello,

I got the guitar from ESP, while I was working there in NYC. It had an ESP decal, which I took off and replaced with a Fender Broadcaster decal as a joke. This had to be around 1982, maybe 1983, I will check my records when I get home from tour. This is all before Fender started the Headstock Lawsuits.

Paging Nitebob...would love to get the correct decal for this.

Back on the market, folks. I added a creme trim ring (thanks again, Scottcrud!) and am trying to hook up with Nitebob to get the correct headstock decal.

$550.00 shipped and I'll eat the Paypal fee.

I'm open to trades for FM Specials, Studios, Artists, Robins and original ESP 400 Strats, too, with cash as needed.
