zorrow Posted September 7, 2006 Posted September 7, 2006 Just FYI, I called Kahler to ask them about the 2300 I have on my recently acquired 1984 Vector KK. They kindly answered all my questions, even the most stupid ones. They also sent me a catalog for free. In few words: talk about Kahler and you are talking about customer care. Kudos to them!
serial Posted September 7, 2006 Posted September 7, 2006 Deja vu! I think I posted a thread with this exact title (scary, huh?) about a month or two ago. I ordered a bar and fine tuners for my Zulu Phantom and they arrived the next day. I was pretty blown away, actually, since it seems to take things forever in the mail.
Hamer95USA Posted September 7, 2006 Posted September 7, 2006 Hey guys, Kahler USA's customer service is top notch. I bought a set of fine tuner knobs for my Kahler Spyder tremolo over a month ago. The knobs arrived within a week and got a free catalog. I'm quite happy since I own both a Spyder & Steeler tremolo system and might need parts in the future. Guitar George
serial Posted September 7, 2006 Posted September 7, 2006 I am SO glad that they're back in business. For the past decade, I've had to rely on one local dealer on my side of the river who was a real pain in the ass-so much so that it was easier to sell a guitar with a Kahler rather than deal with getting parts replaced. He had been a Kahler dealer and had tons of parts stock and since he was the only game in town, charged stupid prices. He once told me that he sold a trem arm for $75.00 to a guy from Florida. When the guy said that was too much, he said "find another one". He said the guy sent him a check that week. I didn't like the arrogance or the weirdness. Because of that guy in part, I started going to BCRGreg exclusively for stuff.
