Submariner85 Posted October 1, 2006 Posted October 1, 2006 If anyone here wins the auction for this Phantom http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...A%3AIT&rd=1I can pick it up and ship it to you and save you at least 50 bux in shipping costs.I already talked to the guy and and he said if I won it, I could pick it up locally. This is at a store called Regency Jewelry and Loan which is about 1/2 an hour from my house. There's mail and more less than a mile from here that I deal with all the time that gives good rates on fedex, dhl and ups.
BCR Greg Posted October 1, 2006 Posted October 1, 2006 We were an authorized Hamer dealer from 1995-2001. We were Hamer dealers between 1998-2001.Two auctions, two different statements.
Turdus Posted October 1, 2006 Posted October 1, 2006 Say What ???? $630 + reserve not met? This is one of my favorite Hamers, but I thought they were still in the under $500 range. When these were new, a local dealer had several, lined up, at something like $499 if I recall correctly.
Submariner85 Posted October 1, 2006 Author Posted October 1, 2006 Well, they are a legit business but maybe on the shady side. Typical for Pawn Shop people. Still, the offer stands. Here is their address and phone number if you want to check them out yourselfRegency Jewelry & Loan 10236 Atlantic Blvd Jacksonville, FL 32225(904) 725-1172
Steve Haynie Posted October 1, 2006 Posted October 1, 2006 There was a run of the plain Phantoms in the late 90's that were offered at an incredibly low price to the Hamer dealers. Some chose to discount off of the MSRP, and some chose to sell at a blow out price. Those were some killer guitars and definitely worth paying a high price today if it is truly nice and New Old Stock.
