Phantom Hawk Posted November 9, 2006 Posted November 9, 2006 I need some room in the vault for other toys, so its inventory reduction time ! I've got one that may interest some of you psycho Hamer fanatics heh heh heh Its a black Phantom GT in really nice shape with case, of course. I'm asking $1100 including shipping in the US. Elsewhere, the shipping may be more expensive , so its not included. Email me - DEbayhawk at aol dot com - for pictures and details. It wouldn't hurt my feelings to hold onto this one, so please don't treat me like a car salesman and try to get it for half price. Thanks ! Chris
Phantom Hawk Posted November 10, 2006 Author Posted November 10, 2006 The wonderful <cough> town of Newark , right by the University of Delaware. Should I warn the coeds you're coming ? HA !
serial Posted November 10, 2006 Posted November 10, 2006 Nah-I was born in Wilmington and grew up right down the Kirkwood Hwy from Newark-spent ALOT of time there as a youngster and then again in college with friends from the beach (Rehoboth/Dewey)-one of my old beach roommates is the FOX weatherman out of Philly-he was a UofD guy.
cmatthes Posted November 10, 2006 Posted November 10, 2006 Oi thawt oi hird a Noo Cawstewl Kaunty aiccent...
Phantom Hawk Posted November 10, 2006 Author Posted November 10, 2006 Hey hey hey, we don't have accents here ......... the rest of the world does ! And for the record, I'm no fan of the Iggles hahahaha I'm a long suffering Seahawks fan. Last December's 42 - 0 Monday Night game was just too cool !Ah yeah ...... Wilmington - A Place to Beat, uh , I mean BE Someone . I think everybody in north Delaware spent a lot of time in Newark when they were teenagers. Drag racing and picking up girls , man those were the days ............
cmatthes Posted November 10, 2006 Posted November 10, 2006 True - being from there, I've been told I have NO accent. I can pick out accents from pretty much everywhere else though for some odd reason. I think that particular part of DE is a neutral zone - you don't get the Phully axxzent to the "Neaurth", the Bawl'mer asscent to the "Wes", nor the Slower, Lower, Southern DE "Aicksewnt" (which is the same as the MD Eastern Shore variety). Some of those can be like nails on a chalkboard!
Phantom Hawk Posted November 10, 2006 Author Posted November 10, 2006 Yeah, I think we're accentless too. Kinda strange with all the accents all around here. My g/f was raised in Philly and I still get a kick when she says "warsh". As in " Go warsh your hands" and when people use the bathroom, they sit on the "toohlet". hahahahaha
cmatthes Posted November 10, 2006 Posted November 10, 2006 Yeah, but does she "warsh" her hands in the "zink"?;D
Phantom Hawk Posted November 10, 2006 Author Posted November 10, 2006 Yeah, but does she "warsh" her hands in the "zink"?;DNo, but her parents do ! And they get mad if you ask what a zink is .......
Phantom Hawk Posted November 11, 2006 Author Posted November 11, 2006 Just wanted to let you all know - If nothing happens by tomorrow afternoon , the Phantom is heading to Evilbay . I just wanted to give you guys first whack at it 8)
BCR Greg Posted November 11, 2006 Posted November 11, 2006 cmatthes, everyone tells you you have no accent because they are tryng to get away from you, and you keep talking. So they are really saying "You have NOTHING TO SAY" when they say that.Oh, and you smell.Kisses.
cmatthes Posted November 12, 2006 Posted November 12, 2006 Whatever, Tiny Tim.cmatthes, everyone tells you you have no accent because they are tryng to get away from you, and you keep talking. So they are really saying "You have NOTHING TO SAY" when they say that.Oh, and you smell.Kisses.
