cmatthes Posted December 6, 2006 Posted December 6, 2006 He Can't - eBay has changed their rules (this week maybe?). No cancellations within 12 hours of the close. It wasn't like that a couple of weeks ago!
kurtsstuff Posted December 6, 2006 Posted December 6, 2006 Oh yeah......I believe it's always been like that to some degree...24 hours or sumthin like that??
RacerX Posted December 6, 2006 Posted December 6, 2006 Very cool guitar, Glad the one found a new home. Every day that went by without a bid I got that itchy feelin'.... And the last thing I need is another guitar right now. Mark.
serial Posted December 6, 2006 Author Posted December 6, 2006 No it hasnt. You can't WITHDRAW your bid w/in 24 hours if you're bidding on an item (which has always been the case as I recall), but I've bid on no fewer than two dozen guitars (usually Gibson stuff) that have been cancelled in the last few minutes. The "new" thing is that you can't change ANYTHING about an auction where you're selling in the last 12 hours of the auction. I know for a fact that that hasn't been there that long because I added something to the description to answer a question about a Strat that I sold recently with two hours to go.Mark-thanks. This is a cool guitar, but I haven't played it in two years b/c of the Floyd thing!
